Loop 202
 Closures & Restrictions

Loop 202 curves eastward from central Phoenix to serve the East Valley.

The segment known as the Red Mountain Freeway originates at SR 51 and loops through Tempe and Mesa to join the Superstition Freeway.

The Santan Freeway connects the Superstition Freeway with I-10, looping through the communities of Gilbert, Mesa and Chandler.

A third section, the proposed South Mountain Freeway (would link I-10 in the Southeast Valley with I-10 in the Southwest Valley), is currently undergoing studies to determine a final alignment.
